Pitch like a pro!
What does a manager or studio exec want to hear in a pitch?
Your story is 120 pages long or maybe you’ve got 5 seasons of a series in your head – how can you possible boil all that down to a pitch that lasts just a few minutes? What are the key elements to include? Should you talk about yourself?
Pitching can be overwhelming and since most pitches don’t end in a sale or assignment they can also be discouraging.
But it’s part of the job.
So get the inside scoop on what a manager wants to hear when you’re pitching to them and how they pitch to studios. Bring your own questions too; there will be a Q&A at the end!
