Membership Levels:
There are two levels of membership in the NWSG:
(1) Guild Members ($100 / year):
Guild Members have had a screenplay approved by the Script Review Committee according to our Guild Script Submission Guidelines. They are eligible to pitch to NWSG guests, who are executives, producers, agents, managers, and actors actively seeking material or other industry professionals offering one-on-one career advice.

(2) Associate Members ($100 / year):
Associate Members have not yet had a script approved, or are just getting started on the screenwriting path. They can attend all members-only meetings, but cannot pitch to NWSG guests or attend private one-on-one consultations. Once you sign-up as an Associate Member, you can submit your script to the Guild Script Review Commitee.
NOTE: Membership to the Guild is for individuals only. Those who are in a writing partnership must each become members in order to attend Guild events for free. Partners can submit a script together for Guild status, but each must be a paid-up member on their own in order to pitch.
How to Join:
Join the Northwest Screenwriters Guild in one of two ways:
- Register with us online via PayPal
- Come to a meeting. Check the web site for dates. You can visit for $15, or sign up as an Associate Member (see Membership Dues above)
- When you sign up as an Associate Member, you can also turn in a script for evaluation as a Guild Member.
