September 18, 2007 - Peanut Butter Sanjay Time
The Sanjay Shah event was great success. Despite holding our meeting on a Saturday, we still had about 30 people in attendance. He gave everyone the real scoop on what it is like to be a Hollywood writer and answered every single question in a frank, instructive, and entertaining manner.
Those who participated in the 20-minute one-on-one consultations received invaluable advice and guidance in their careers. Sanjay even mentioned that he was inspired by our accomplished writers (and some of their monster credits) and was excited to get back to writing. We will definitely bring him back in 2008 to do a follow-up Q&A meeting and more consultation sessions.
